Tooling Notes
Tether Billy 3000 » Devlog
I've gotten comfortable with Godot 4.1. But I went with Godot 3.5 for this game jam because I know its html5 builds are solid. Really missed the 4.0 improvements, especially in GDScript. Going back wasn't at all painful like I'd expected.
I mostly used Pixelorama to make the graphics. Did use a little Photoshop for the title page.
I used Reakain's Soft Gameboy Font.
Made the music with Logic Pro X. After wrestling with the four color limitation, I didn't even try to go lo-fi with the music.

FWIW Mine was in Godot 4.1 and seems like it worked fine. Though you need to chose GScript and not c#. I even had a project with GScript only but I couldn't export until I moved it to the non c# version of the editor. :( But at least I figured that out without too much effort.
Cool, yeah, 4.1 exports do seem to work mostly okay in Chrome these days.
My 4.1 projects still load very slowly in Firefox and sometimes freeze. (See my "blockstep" game for an example that locks up in Firefox.) I just wanted to make it as easy as I could for people to try it!
Ah, good point, I did not test Firefox. :(
